The Kamikaze

From death defying circus and irreverent interactive games to bad ass breaks, bubbling bass, bouncy beats and downright dirty dubstep, The Kamikaze is the place to be for daytime fun and frollics and nightime dancefloor mayhem!

Here are a few of the acts that played last year

  • Congo Natty (Special Birthday Set!!)
  • Engine EarZ Experiment
  • Stenchman
  • Freefall Collective
  • Gypsy Unit
  • Snareophobe
  • Mr Woodnote
  • Slamboree

Just to refresh your probably very hazy memories of the Kamikaze in years gone by, can you remember these highlights from the last few year's??

  • DJ Die's epic history of Drum and Bass set
  • Gas Lamp Killer's insane journey through dubstep, rock and beyond
  • The Nextmen relentlessly smashing the dancefloor
  • The Bays extraordinary and totally improvised live show
  • The mayhem caused by the swing and D&B of The Correspondents

2011 sees the return of the annual King's of Ping Championship- the most hard fought and closely contested fancy dress table tennis tournament in the world.  Re-live all the action from 2010 by watching their brilliant video below.

This year also sees the return of the Krumping Barn Dance- booty shaking and hip grinding all under the direction of Nigel May and Kash Murray and with live dubstep and grime providing the filth!

For the last 2 years we had commissioned a very special project called Cirque Du Freq.  This was a circus, dance and acrobatic show fully choreographed to a live dubstep band featuring Marcus Dubrovnik and the Smerin's horn section.  Check their video from Shambala 2010:

Alas, the "dubstep circus" has had to take a break this year, but in there place we have booked the incredible talents of Slamboree!  Check their Facebook Page.
