Please make sure you have the correct vehicle pass and please offset your travel miles when buying tickets (see below).
Distances for guidance:
From Birmingham it is only 45 miles and takes a ridiculous 47 minutes.
From Bristol it is only 120 miles and takes a very manageable 2ish hours.
From London it is 80 miles and takes a very do-able 2 hours.
From Sheffield it is 95 miles and takes a measly 1 and half hours.
From Penzance it is a long way but it's well worth it!
See HERE more information of why ofsdeeting your travel miles is a good idea.
Our carbon offset initiative has been carefully worked out to reflect the real cost of replacing carbon. This is not a guilt-easing exercise. We believe that some activities (like our festival) are worthwhile despite the environmental impacts. We act to reduce our CO2 footprint wherever possible, but whatever we do, some CO2 will inevitably be produced by the event and people's travel to and from it. We can invest in projects that help to reduce this impact, for example, renewable power or reforestation.
Every year we offer YOU the option of where to spend the carbon offset revenues after the festival with a website vote. We also offset all the festival's core emissions - in 2010 this equated to 136tonnes of carbon.
